Fredericia Reintroduces Sofie Østerby’s Hydro Vase in Mouth-Blown Glass

In 2020, Frederica tapped Danish designer Sofie Østerby to create the Hydro vase for its Complements line, a series of objects created in collaboration with emerging designers in Denmark and abroad that are intended to complement Frederica’s line of furniture. The Hydro Vase was originally cast in solid brass that oxidized to a black finish. It has now been extended to include a new version – the Hydro Glass Vase – that’s made of mouth-blown crystalline glass.
