For those who may not know about the phrase, an ink trap is a characteristic of some fonts created for tiny-size printing. Ink spontaneously spreads into the missing area as the type is printed. Though ink traps were initially developed for printing on newsprint for small sizes, we have been watching the just opposite of that recently.
