Since then, Gretel has supported several ventures from the Noma group, including a second location for Hart and brand design for Inua in Tokyo. Vegetable, Forest, Ocean , to celebrate Noma's 20th anniversary.

Released in May 2021, it's one of many fun and original typefaces from Ohno Type , which James launched in 2018. As well as creating fonts, the foundry is committed to making Ohno a positive force in the graphic and type design community. Iskry by Laic Iskry is a serif typeface with a unique and quirky character.

After doing that for a while, I knew that advertising is not what I want to be doing, not long term at least so I enrolled at Central Saint Martins’ Graphic Communication Design course. I finished and worked in London for a little while before deciding I wanted to go back to Cairo in 2018.
