When I first saw Untitled Sans , I wasn’t sure what to think. Untitled Sans is clean, unobtrusive, and beautiful in its very specific manner. Untitled Sans is the latter, with the idea being the creation of a typeface that isn’t “challenging” but still “enormously useful,” to use Kris Sowersby’s words.

The primary typography for VEL is Untitled Sans Regular. As a supplement to the design, Untitled also has a serif version. VEL employs Untitled Serif Italic to emphasize language, especially in promotional materials. Inside the form, the word VEL is nested in all capital letters. .
