Boasting dynamic typography and colours inspired by rave culture, the identity is a celebration of the UK's clubbing aesthetic. Since 2007, Majefa has been bringing rave to the city of Manchester with premier events featuring some of the biggest names in the genre. He's not wrong.

Humble roots It all began with two determined women in a Sydney backyard shed in 2007. For the typography, Denim by Displaay Type helps show off the brand's confident personality yet retains practicality. They cooked their delicious, homely, ready-to-heat meals on camping stoves and delivered them initially to friends and family.

Given that so many typography blogs are run by type designers, it’s also refreshing to see one written, instead, by a designer who uses type in their day-to-day work. There’s also a shop with some brilliant T-shirts, tote bags and fonts for fans of typography. The last week of every month, they feature a guest designer.

In 2007, I studied Design and Visual Communications at a university in Tel Aviv. And there's a vintage feel to the typography too. Yeah, I always put a lot of attention on the typography on my websites. Amazingly, you could create a cool website without hand-coding it from scratch but using a web design tool like Editor X.
