Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 2022, her distinctive illustration style has been recognised by the Society of Illustrators, Creative Quarterly, and the World Illustration Awards. And this is without mentioning the dozens of group exhibitions she's been part of. We caught up with her to learn more.

The illustration artist from Shanghai, also known as Yue Li, is a recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts and is now based in New York. In her recent solo exhibition, Water Stitches , she travels through time to explore her spirituality to its fullest, re-envisioning ancient wall paintings via her own mural-like, surrealist style.

STUDIO DAM’s and Admira’s participation was in the SingaPlural exhibition, where the theme for 2019 was dubbed Unnatural Phenomena. For one, laminates are man-made materials that mimic natural materials, colors, and textures. This collaboration with Admira for SingaPlural combined digital graphic work with product design.
