I used to spend hours and hours on Photoshop, having the best time of my life, figuring out how to replicate the skeuomorphic effects on the visual elements I was crafting, simulating shiny reflections, choosing the perfect font, designing a realistic drop-shadow to make it pop. They simulated frosted glass ( glassmorphism ) in 2007!
