We are beyond excited to introduce to you all today our latest e-Course— Everyday Photography: 52 Weeks of Documenting Life. We are constantly amazed by how BUSY life can get sometimes! Before you realize it, a whole year can pass by, just like that. It’s important to slow down, to notice and appreciate the everyday little things. And it’s even more important to make some time to document them so you can preserve and share these memories for years to come.
2016 was an interesting year for sure – one dominated by politics and controversy. However, for design, we kept ourselves busy making the world just a little more beautiful whenever and wherever we could. Here are some of the top trends and moments we saw this past year. 1.) Color Overlays. This treatment appeared on photos everywhere. Some of the many examples include NYC’s Pride 2016 site (below) and MailChimps Year in Review (also below). 2.
Watch out for that tree, Santa! Polar Bear Santa would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas (and so would I)!! If you decide to leave out some biscuits and milk for the big bear, please remember Mrs Claus has put him on a strict diet, so the vittles will have to be digestives (without chocolate) and skimmed milk only. Do not, under any circumstances, serve mince pies or sherry - you have permission to save those for yourself.

With so many trends coming and going, it can be overwhelming to determine which ones you should capitalize on and which ones might not be worth the trouble. In this exclusive webinar with Amber Asay, we’ll explore graphic design trends that need to die, trends that are starting to pick up and why, trends that have come and gone, and how t
For Small Business Saturday last year , I wanted to create a series of illustrations representing the amazing diversity of this country's small businesses. I got in touch with the Small Business 100 (which I was lucky enough to be part of last year), and asked for real-world inspiration to give the project a collaborative edge! I had such brilliant feedback from the project last year (you can spot the illustrations framed in the Small Business Saturday office!
This year Alessandro Michele has captured my heart with his collections for Gucci so when I got my paws on this dress I just knew I had to wear it on Christmas day. I'm entertaining this Christmas so I have been whizzing around the kitchen in this prepping the veggie feast and it's surprisingly practical (especially when my housekeeper Mrs Fluffy is on hand) I did have to swap the gloves for rubber at one point but never fear they were a Chanel pair that I swiped when I went to the AW14 show set

My last post on 'Paisley' gave you a sneaky peak at the huge treehouse cross-section I was working on - click here. Thankfully I eventually finished it and I'm going to show you the whole full colour version, including lots of details hitherto unseen on the web! The Treehouse Cross-Section, watercolour and gouache 53 x 102cm This took me roughly 30 days to complete and really pushed my studio's capabilities.
So, by now you're probably used to seeing lots of my personal work, sketches, or newly released published work online. But I realised, as 2016 draws to a close, I rarely showcase a lot of the work I do behind the scenes for more corporate clients - but this year has been full of work for local schools, festivals, and national business events, that I thought it'd be worth sharing a few of my favourite pieces!
I love getting involved with creative groups and, as I've mentioned (so many) times before, I think it's a great idea for freelancers to connect and support each other, even if it's online! I've been taking part in the Creative Bloggers social media chats for a few years now, and this year I signed up for the Creative Bloggers' secret santa! I honestly think this is the first secret santa I've ever done - a symptom of freelancing I suppose!

I'm a sucker for pretty stationery. Give me floral patterns and the opportunity to try and be organised, and I'm all over it. Busy B have been a firm favourite of mine for the last few years, so I'm really excited to have been sent their new 'To Do Diary' to review! As a bit of a bonus, (and as my only Black Friday purchase!) I also stocked up on these this pretty 2017 calendar and these adorable puppy page markers in their recent sale.
Today I'm wearing SS17 Valentino. I used some of my connections to get my paws on it early! It's a little chilly but I'm going to a Christmas party tonight and I'm planning on dancing on the tables so I'm sure that will keep me toasty. Hope your run up to Christmas is as debauched! bunny kisses Fifi Lapin xxx.
My darling Fifi fans, how long it has been? I'm afraid I have been so busy with my high flying schedule that I simply haven't had time to show you my latest outfits. So many gorgeous clothes you've missed out on! If it's any consolation I have enjoyed them very much despite not sharing them with the world. You know, sometimes a bun just needs a break from the constant adoration.
