The plan was to try to find a part-time, in-house design job after I graduated at the end of 2019, but the pandemic had other ideas. What inspires your design work? Inspiration is everywhere! Flowers and plants remain inspiring to me, even though they’re not the medium I design with anymore. Very nerdy. The list goes on!

Basically, there’s no shortage of things to inspire Chicago’s many amazing creatives. Caroline puts this down to her upbringing in the Dominican Republic, which she refers to as “Summer Land” Despite living and working in Chicago, the culture and colours of the Caribbean continue to inspire her work to this day.
