One of my big goals for 2018 was to take film photos. It may seem like a smallish/novelty goal to some, but it’s one that has been incredibly rewarding to me this past year! With the year wrapping up, I thought I would share some of the high points from our year of film photos and hopefully it will inspire some of you to begin your own challenge in the new year!

In outstanding detail, Annelie Carlström creates her character-driven illustrations that easily inhabit the realms of both the surreal and the highly realistic. Whether through a play with proportions or perspective, Annelie takes away any overly serious tone that might come with exceptionally beautiful pencil drawings, and adds in element of fun and playfulness.

I was commissioned by Age Uk to design the cover of their Love Christmas Carol Concert promotional cover. The design needed to be in the brand’s limited Christmas colour palette and have a traditional Christmas feel, while making information clear. The Love Christmas device was also used as the logo for the event.
