Away from the distraction and red tape of the office, focus and productivity have increased. To counteract this at Scatter, we designed non-visual cues such as soft details and textured floor coverings — material treatments that become progressively softer and more pliable as the body experiences the virtual reality space.

The material mimics the texture of bamboo leaf, which means it boasts the moisture-wicking properties that are required for good healing. Motivated by the growing number of disabled people projected to live in India by 2050, and the lack of accessible buildings, National Insititute of Design student Athul Dinesh has developed Four Walls.
