Back in 2017, designer Roy Scholten and collaborator Martijn van der Blom brought LEGO into their letterpress workshops for elementary school students. Artists interested in papermaking, printmaking, and book arts are eligible for the Denbo Fellowship, which provides studio and storage space, access to facilities, and a living stipend.

Russian designer Anastasiia Vinnichenko graduated Shillington Manchester in 2017 and now works for Manchester agency, Toy Fight. Freelance print and graphic designer Juliette van Rhyn studied on Shillington London’s part-time course. Her feed is sublime, full of both her incredible graphic design and textile print work.

We launched our Cotton Business Cards in 2017, but making paper from scraps of fabric goes back way, way longer. For things like books and printmaking, wood fiber papers became the norm by the 1870s. But the paper looks great and prints beautifully, so we persevere. . In fact, it’s how all the best papers used to be made.
