Framed by a new public sculpture garden and an inviting urban park, the venue now known simply as The Shepherd is a 1,300-square-metre gallery, library and community hub. Peterson Rich Office (PRO) carefully inserted a pair of large volumes into the church interior, deftly respecting the older building’s textures and datum lines.
