In 2007, for example, their Solstice Arts Centre in Navan, Ireland transformed a parking lot-cum-weekend market into a sculptural visual-arts complex. Taking inspiration from natural and constructed anchors – from churches to ruins to outcroppings – the new civic structure comprises a 320-seat theatre and gallery above.
