I met him and his partner John Boiler first at a meeting for Xbox, a client his agency 72andsunny and AKQA that I was working for shared from 2005 or 2006 for multiple years. And after you do, be willing to take on freelance work to keep going. In return, I asked him about starting a company. Their agency was 20 or 30 people back then.
