Back in Leipzig she freelanced for a while, incorporating a feminine ethos to her constructivist style in commercial designs. In 1931 she designed the cover for die neue linie , a popular magazine for young women at the time. She continued to work with the publisher, Otto Beyer, until the beginning of the Nazi Regime.
