The Second Coming: A New Act for Detroit’s Little Village

After closing its doors in 2016, the house of worship then known as the Good Shepherd Catholic Church sat vacant. Framed by a new public sculpture garden and an inviting urban park, the venue now known simply as The Shepherd is a 1,300-square-metre gallery, library and community hub. I’m not sure whether to call it a church at all.
