It’s safe to say that we’re something of a sucker for the work of Réplica studio. From deliciously vibrant restaurant branding to considered website design for an LGBTQIA+ news platform, its diverse portfolio prioritises colour, graphic shapes and a healthy dose of warmth. While founded by Colombian designers Camilo Roa and Juan Pablo Mejía in Bogota, the studio now spans geographical boundaries, working across Colombia and Spain, and taking clients from all over the world.

Basing their approach on “conversation and human connection”, Réplica always endeavours to collaborate with “like-minded” clients, Juan says. Moreover, Juan tells us that they’re not too keen on rigid ways of working, stating that “we’re not very fond of strict methodologies but trustful to processes and time”. The studio's unique approach is also rooted in its unique source of influence, much of which comes from music and pop culture. “All these references and stimulation from our cultural and social background are present in how we think, design and develop our projects, while trying to be perceptive (and critical) of who we are as Colombians,” Juan ends.
