Hello and happy July! I hope everyone’s been hanging in there through this summer. It looks much different than I’m sure we all imagined. For me it’s been all about backyard playtime, warm evening walks, and dinners on patios. (The patio is our own and we’re making the best use out of it since we moved in 7 years ago.) The summer is already flying by. Probably because living through what feels like a never-ending pandemic makes time move in strange ways!

There’s lots going on right now, so I wanted to keep the free July wallpaper cool and classic with a geometric tiled pattern and my all time favorite color - GRAY. Why gray you ask? Maybe it’s because my mom hated it growing up, or maybe it’s because my ideas are so colorful! Anyway you can decorate all your favorite screens with this little ditty to keep cool this month. PERSONAL NEWS

During June we chose to bring back out childcare provider and it’s made a world of difference! For the first time since March I’m not so tired that I feel like a corn husk with eyeballs at the end of the day. And that means I’m enjoying the time that I do get to spend with Miles even more. He’s tearing up our backyard and starting to say more words and sounds every day. In addition to saying car and garbage he’s added snack and bowl and light and daddy. (No mommy yet which only breaks my heart a just little bit.)

BUSINESS NEWS

In June we launched the online Shop for wordshop, an indy stationery shop here in Denver, that had been in the works since the beginning of COVID. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on 3 more branding clients and cannot wait to share soon.
