The creative industries can be a source of great positivity and inspiration, but it is also rife with competition, rejection, isolation, long hours and, in many cases, little pay. It doesn’t take a genius to conclude that these things are not conducive to good mental health. Especially if we don't learn to handle them well. In a poll I did on instagram 99% of creative professionals said they had struggled with at least one of these things.
