Yukai Du Mural at Ustwo’s new Shoreditch Studio

Just recently, digital product studio ustwo unveiled a brand new mural at its new Shoreditch studio, which was designed by the London-based, Chinese-born artist and animator Yukai Du.

For the Shoreditch mural, the team approached Wood Street Walls for help finding a local artist and running the production, and instantly fell in love with Du’s work. The large-scale mural, painted by Wood Street Walls and Hatch Art, can be seen by anyone passing by ustwo’s recently opened studio at 154–158 Shoreditch High Street in London. Yukai Du used a range of bright colors, including some of the yellows from the building’s original tiles. The design celebrates collectivism in recognition of ustwo’s recent transition to becoming employee-owned. The artist has illustrated figures pouring out of windows and then being drawn back into the building, in a continuous flow.
