Ronan Le Fur aka Dofresh, is freelance concept artist and illustrator currently based in Rennes, France. “I used 3ds Max for the modelling and V-Ray for the rendering. A bit of ZBrush for some creatures. There was also a massive use of Photoshop in order to get the final result. I did not face any particular difficulty during the process. It allowed me to concentrate on lighting, composition and colors,” he said.

Instead of the two months he anticipated the build taking, it actually took more than a year to perfect the design, and that’s after making five mold systems, experiencing hundreds of ring failures and using 1,300 pounds of clay.

I haven’t traveled anywhere for a while, and Rhi James—aka Hebe Studio —has me yearning for a vacation. She creates colorful illustrations of wanderlust-inducing landscapes and interior scenes that remind me how nice it is to stay in someone else’s home. Rhi is from the UK but currently based in Perth, Australia. Travel is at the core of her work. “Rhi created Hebe Studio in quarantine after a trip of a lifetime traveling around India for a couple of months,” her website explains.

Redkroft designed MUUS’ brand identity. MUUS is a brand of boutique patisserie offering exclusive confectionery. It is run by siblings, experimenting with and improving grandma’s recipes. The small but cosy place is located on Tamka street in Warsaw, in The Fryderyk Chopin Institute’s prestigious neighbourhood. The visual identity they designed is a tribute to the aesthetic tradition of the most beautiful Warsaw cafes and restaurants of the early 20th century.

Charles Hewitt/Picture Post/Hulton Archive/Getty Images. In 1955, photographer Charles Hewitt visited Salvador Dalí and his wife (and muse) Gala at their home to shoot photos for a British editorial magazine called Picture Post. The famous artist posed up showing his surreal personality and didn’t miss this opportunity to shock his audience. Hewitt ended up titling the photoshoot simply as “One day with Salvador Dalí”. h/t: rarehistoricalphotos.
