There is a collection of unusually shaped printed matter on my bookshelf. Tiny leaflets, fold-out books, really long flyers, giant kids’ books. I collect them from second-hand markets, museums, and keepsakes from online orders. I keep them as inspiration if I have time for a project one day then I can borrow ideas from these unusual shapes! But to be honest it’s not that, I just like collecting beautiful objects.

Bar in Cantabria, Spain. Designed by Mubien. There are a couple of great combinations at play here: one is the typography that mixes a lovely thin script with a bold monospace font and the other being the production that mixes foil stamping with heavily textured cloth covers. The result is a an elegant, textural set of menus in yet another strong combination, this last one of colors.
