This concept came to me in a cover packaging meeting. The book's editor, Margaux Weisman , was explaining the fantastic story of how this pigeon, Cher Ami, helped in the war effort; it's bravery and doggedness to get to the other side with the messages it would carry.

Throughout the early 19th century, naturalist, illustrator, and mineralogist James Sowerby published 718 color renderings of minerals, which he accompanied with their characteristics, classifications, and other names. In the Late Middle Ages, there were illustrated books called Danse Macabre or the Dance of Death which were used to focus the mind on life’s short stretch. These books were heavily illustrated with pictures of Death or a gnarly skeleton fresh from the grave a-coming-up to claim both high and low. The peasant and the King were equal before Death, neither could escape its cold bony grasp.

Miniature restaurants, record shops, and apothecaries squeeze into ground-level windows on the street next to their human-sized equivalents. The adorable universe is a project from a collective aptly named AnonyMouse , which started crafting the charming scenes in the spring of 2016.

Studio Sutherland has given the Churches Conservation Trust a new identity which focuses on the historic architecture found in churches across the UK. The organisation is dedicated to saving churches that are at risk of falling into a state of disrepair. More than 350 buildings have been protected by the trust to date and churches rescued by the Churches Conservation Trust become cultural, social and educational hubs for visitors and communities.
