Kristian Hammerstad is a Norwegian illustrator who draws funny and slightly psychedelic pop art pictures with robots, zombies, aliens and other mutants. He designs book covers, records and does illustrations for publications such as the New York Times, the New Yorker and MIT Technology Review.
In addition to his lush coloring and memorable style, Hammerstad’s work has a good sense of humor. His paintings are a subtle satire on modern society, presented through the prism of chaos and the endless rush that surrounds each of us.
