Based in the South of France, photographer Laurent Roch describes himself as a curious spectator, reacting to what he sees in “the true, open-air theatre of the streets”. Interested in the details, Roch scans the horizon for harmonious and graphic elements in his surroundings in an attempt to transcend the banality of everyday life. His quirky and colorful images breathe a vibrant life into the subtle moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
