Ýr Jóhannsdóttir or Ýrúrarí is an Icelandic designer who works mainly with textiles. While promoting slow fashion, she creates knitted pieces similar to real works of art.
Ýrúrarí is particularly interested in the sustainability of clothing by inviting us to question our absurd habits of textile consumption. The artist tries new ways to make clothes last as unique pieces of art and design through eccentric knitted pieces made of wool. A creative and ethical project that has a lot of merit!
