Julia Beardwood’s design journey illustrates the fusion between analytical insight and creative innovation. Her trajectory from her early days as a math major at Newcastle University to her current role as CEO and founding partner of Beardwood&Co., a distinguished branding and design agency in the heart of New York City, is a testament to her unwavering commitment to success.
Julia’s career began as a Brand Assistant for the iconic Pampers brand at P&G UK, where her affinity for the intersection of analytical and creative thinking began. Then, Julia’s transition into advertising, serving as an Account Executive, solidified her abilities within the complex world of branding.
From there, Julia started working with Landor, a global brand consultancy, and she channeled her energy into designing strategies for storied brands like Pepperidge Farm, Pizza Hut, Gatorade, and Goldman Sachs. Julia’s innate curiosity drove her to uncover the motivations that underpin human behavior, an invaluable skill that would later shape her creative philosophy. She then embarked on freelance work, aligning her career with her values and nurturing her connection with her family.
