Publishing giant Ladybird Books has today unveiled a fresh new look that captures the playful spirit of the iconic brand. Long-time readers will be relieved to hear that its distinctive red with black spots haven't flown away, though. If you grew up in the UK, chances are you've picked up a Ladybird book at least once in your life. The distinctive brand, a branch of Penguin Random House, has helped generations of children learn to read in its long history, which stretches back over a century.

Check out this craft beer branding inspired by ’70s demonstrations and Italian futurism. Bella Ciao is a unique lager craft beer that pays homage to the famous libertarian anthem, a call for universal struggle against all political and social oppression. So Marçal Prats came up with a design that uses images taken from pamphlets of social protests in Rome during the 1970s, while the logotype and typefaces are inspired by the ground-breaking Futurism work of Italian artist Fortunato Depero.

Designed by Stockholm-based All Matters Studio , the PINNE 04 chair is the design studio’s take on the Swedish classic “Orkesterstolen” chair by Sven Markelius, which can be appreciated on its own or as a stacked object of multiple chairs.
