CF Napa Brand Design designed the refined yet dynamic packaging for William Heritage Winery’s new line of Jersey Wine – Semi-Sweet Wines, which aimed for a higher price than their bestsellers, Jersey Red and Jersey Blush. CF Napa adopted an edgy and modern approach to strike this balance, using bold block type and pops of color in the labels. They employed a minimalist black and white palette with striking red accents for Jersey Cab. In contrast, the Jersey Rosé label featured a burst of pink to allude to the wine’s hue, set against a stark white and blue background for added contrast. The discreet use of gold foil reinforced the wine’s premium positioning.
William Heritage Winery came to CF Napa to create the packaging for a new line within their Jersey Wine brand – Semi-Sweet Wines. These new wines were designated to have a higher price point than their top-selling, existing counterparts – Jersey Red and Jersey Blush. The packaging needed to reflect this sophistication while retaining the in-your-face spirit of the Jersey Wine brand. CF Napa created more edgy, modern labels using bold, block type, and pops of color. For the Jersey Cab, a minimalist black and white color palette contrasted red accents. For the Jersey Rosé, the burst of pink hinted at the hue of the wine while the stark white and blue contrasted the rosy tones. The subtle usage of gold foil reinforced the wine’s more premium positioning. For the Jersey Moscato, CF Napa continued the ultra-modern design with pops of color. The pink Jersey wordmark was contrasted with a vibrant orange hue to reflect the wine’s melon and tropical fruit flavors.
