In today’s Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show you how to create an abstract piece of artwork using the pixel sorting effect, where coloured pixels of an image are stretched to create a detailed visual effect. Authentic pixel sorting is a type of glitch art that is usually generated by computer code, but we’ll be replicating the appearance with Photoshop’s built-in filters.

Titled Rave Captured , the show depicted the birth of the '90s Northern rave scene with images that have been revisited for the first time in 30 years.
