Electronic music has long been home to innovative graphic design. Influential examples of design have appeared on record sleeves and across club posters , creating a visual legacy that stretches far beyond the confines of the community. Even in the last few months, design tropes associated with the scene have been appropriated by brands trying ( ironically or not ) to tap into this aesthetic, appearing everywhere from Go Compare ads to Conservative Party communications.

I’ve said it many times. Rick Iannucci and Nancy DeSantis are amazing people and dear friends. Their program, Horses for Heroes , runs on their ranch near Santa Fe, and does a tremendous amount of good for wounded veterans and those suffering from PTSD. Being cooped up at home made me think of the beautiful wide open spaces out by Rick and Nancy’s ranch, so I ran a couple of portraits of Nancy over on Instagram.

Norr is a Swedish brand of canned seafood with a sleek, minimalist packaging designed by Slava Vovk. With the assortment of various marine fish, crabs and mollusks, Norr offers sea delicacies in a beautiful wrapping. Sober and simple in form, the packaging was livened up by original, multiplied color combinations of stark purple, orange and turquoise.
