Nick Thomm Launches the Hyper-Colorful THOMME Furniture Line

Nick Thomm’s large scale, hyper-colorful spectral paintings and immersive digital projections have won over big brands and collectors alike. The Australia-born, Los Angeles-based artist is now applying his vibrant artistic language to a different type of project – furniture. The inaugural collection, THOMME, transforms his signature acrylic and resin style into kaleidoscopic three-dimensional objects for the home that are guaranteed to make a statement.

THOMME includes two dining table sets with chairs, a coffee table, side tables, stools, and a rug. The pieces are weighty, pulling inspiration from the hefty masses and clean geometry of Brutalist architecture. Like his paintings, “these pieces are intended to control the atmosphere or mood of a room,” Thomm explains, “extend[ing] the practice to give people a new way to experience my work.”

As Thomm breaks into the home design category, he partnered with digital marketplace Basic.Space to launch his first furniture collection at Design Miami/ 2023.
