Fall color palette suggestion #1 – Reds

Red is a bold, rich autumnal color that grabs people’s attention. When it comes to a red fall color palette, we think less of the pillar-box reds associated with Christmastime and more of the deeper reds with purple undertones. That’s not to say you can’t use a bright red in your palette but pairing it with more subtle colors will keep the palette polished and clean.

For reds, it’s good to choose a monochromatic palette. This means that a single color is used as a tint for all hues and shades in the image. It’s a simple way of creating a visual hierarchy in an image and separating sections. When designing a business logo with a monochromatic fall color palette, you would ensure text is legible by having dark text on a light background or light text on a dark background, for example. You would also use the strongest hues for your accents and secondary items.

Reds are pretty solid fall colors and go well on any fall aesthetic color palette.
