Artist Spotlight: Karlotta Freier

A selection of recent work by Brooklyn-based illustrator Karlotta Freier. Since graduating with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, Freier has worked for clients such as Hermès, The New Yorker, and Cartoon Network, among others. When she’s not busy with client work, Freier spends her free time drawing comics, paintings with oils, and carving wooden figures. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows and festivals internationally, and she has taught illustration at the China Academy of Arts and is a regular speaker at various universities.
