Artist Started A Visual Diary Of Her Quarantine Lockdown

DAY 1

According to Varvara Fomina: “On the 15th of March, Spain announced a very strict quarantine: it is only allowed to go grocery shopping or to the pharmacy. All businesses are closed and people work from their homes (those who can).

As a freelance illustrator, I found my way of dealing with difficulties of confinement: I started a visual diary of our lockdown. Every day I make drawings in which I reflect on news, discussions, and trends in social networks, my perception of the situation and emotions that it provoked.

Let’s go through these hard times together without losing a sense of humor. Stay home, be safe.”
