Desktop Wallpaper: May 2024 With Andrew Footit

We’re big (HUGE!) fans of Andrew Footit, an award-winning independent artist and designer based in the United Kingdom who focuses on modern and illustrative typography in both 2D and 3D formats. His work has reached worldwide acclaim, garnering the eyes of (and in some cases securing collaborations with) Fortune 500 companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Hyundai, Nike, and more. Inspired by Bauhaus and Memphis design, he launched a series of NFTs collectively called Modernist Masks. Handcrafted by Foot or in collaboration with another artist, all of the masks have a unique 1 of 1 design. But his work isn’t all digital – you can bring home a piece of his craft in the form of a tote, pillow, or art print.

For this month’s Designer Desktop, Footit has shared a wonderfully wild and weird design with puffy cushion-like Xs in an array of patterns and colors. We’ve already downloaded the graphics to our laptops and phones – will you?
