Alex Foxley's '90s-inspired illustrations are here to fill your world with positivity

After moving to Barcelona in 2017, I set out to teach myself everything I could about design. I was inspired by the illustration style of many of the '90s Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows, such as The Powerpuff Girls and Hey Arnold! As well as drawing inspiration from yesteryear, mental health is a recurring theme in Alex's work.

Spotify unveils the world's first 'tapestry billboard' to promote Florence + The Machine album

The three individual 2x2 metre woven tapestries have been hanging in the picturesque gardens of Dulwich Picture Gallery, where Florence performed in 2017. And they reflect the lyrical inspiration Florence found in Pre-Raphaelite art when penning Dance Fever, the band's first album in four years, during the lockdown in London.
