Hans Jörgen Johansen Creates Fictional Landscapes Imbued With Eeriness

Swedish artist Hans Jörgen Johansen creates imaginary landscapes that challenge perceptions and encourage contemplation. From desolate and atmospheric sceneries to abstract landscapes with vast geometric patterns, his stunning photographs document a world in continuous transformation.

Hans Jörgen Johansen born in 1961 in Borgholm. He currently lives and works in Stockholm. In 1992, he received an MFA from the Royal University of Fine Arts in Stockholm. Previously, Johansen has been parts of solo and group shows at Landskrona Konsthall, Liljevalchs, Karlskrona Konsthall, Kristinehamns Konstmuseum, Kalmar Konstmuseum, Saltarvet Fiskebäckskil and Brändström & Stene.
