“Works in the inflatables series are created instantly – pre-fused arrangements of sheet glass are pulled hot from a kiln and inflated with compressed air, freezing within seconds as they cool.”
Matthew Szösz is a practicing artist and educator known primarily for his inventive processes and innovative use of glass to explore the intersection of the material, the intellectual, and the poetic. He received his MFA(Glass) from Rhode Island School of Design in 2007.
