At Trendland we always love a good exploration of minimalism and materials. Colors and materials are always a big part of trend research and forecasting – How much shape or form do you need to tell a story? Famous Dutch couple Wendy van Santen and Hans Bolleurs are photographers, directors, thinkers and makers working with everyday items to create images, videos, objects and installations.
For this project they played with foam concepts, colors, textures and light to create surreal situations that make you wonder if it’s real or 3D. With bold colors and minimalist compositions they aim to create a weird and wonderful world. We loooove it!
