Meet The Puffer Bag , a satchel-style crossbody bag inspired by the iconic black puffer jacket seen throughout the city (and beyond) as soon as the temps drop. New York City has always been a hub of inspiration, and Nik Bentel Studio decided to tap into a “New Yorker” must-have item when creating his latest design.

Straight Forward Design has rebranded American nut brand Squirrel, introducing an adventurous and furry mascot named Zip. The design consultancy, which has offices in London and Chicago, has also crafted an Art Deco-inspired wordmark and a range of redesigned packaging. Squirrel was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1888.

Back in the '80s, Swiss kids used to wear cowhide leather satchels. The hilarious thing is that I think it was maybe the first moment I realised what design was. I went to a very small kindergarten with about 30 kids in Switzerland. When you're an eight-year-old, you quickly look around and spot that sort of difference!
