Join our team! It’s Nice That is hiring three roles in creative, editorial and project management

It’s Nice That is looking for three new people to join our team: a junior news writer, a junior graphic & motion designer, and a senior project manager (maternity cover). The first two roles are ideal for candidates in the early stages of their career, who are passionate and knowledgable about the creative industry, and are looking to develop their skills and experience in a nurturing environment. The senior project management role is perfect for an experienced manager of cross-disciplinary teams in the end-to-end delivery of creative projects.

The Junior News Writer will be responsible for sourcing, researching and writing articles for the It’s Nice That News section on a daily basis. They will be a proficient writer who can write short-form articles with precision, clarity and personality, and with good creative and cultural awareness. We’re also looking for someone who will be a key part of our editorial team, contributing to the rest of our editorial output through maintaining contacts, sourcing stories, and suggesting topics and creatives for us to cover. The Junior Graphic & Motion Designer will be responsible for implementing and delivering the design vision for It’s Nice That across all our projects. They will be asked to deliver brilliant design work for a breadth of editorial features, annual campaigns, events and brand partnerships from pitch to final outcome. They will be a talented graphic and motion designer with a contemporary design sensibility and a great eye for detail, technically proficient with adobe creative suite programmes. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated, proactive, positive, able to balance multiple projects at once, and nimble across a variety of tasks. The Senior Project Manager will take up the role for an 11-month fixed-term contract as maternity cover. They will lead It’s Nice That’s commercial projects, responsible for delivering It’s Nice That’s large-scale partnerships, much like our existing work with clients including Apple, Converse, Dropbox, Mailchimp, Pinterest, Spotify and Wix. They will manage multiple projects and cross-disciplinary teams, oversee financial performance, analyse the work of the company, and propose and implement new processes and ideas, as well as develop new business with clients. Experience of management is essential for this role as you will also support the project management team’s personal development.
