The Creator Class: On Set With Josef Adamu

Another inspiring instalment of The Creator Class’s Canon Creator Lab series. #canoncreatorlab is a collaboration between TCC and Canon, aimed at empowering the next generation of photographers, filmmakers, and social storytellers through online and offline programming. In this segment, Toronto-based creative director and producer, Josef Adamu, talks about the beauty of minimalism and how to avoid overcomplicating your art.

Fuelled by a love of formal wear and desire to reposition the black community at the forefront of artistic expression, Adamu uses his camera to tell the story of a young man who finds personal strength in fashion. Check out the full video below as well as more images from Adamu’s shoot!
