It is not easy to find a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Exiample in Barcelona, but Baldomero is definitely the exception. It is a place that regardless the stress or rush you may have, it invites you to take a break, and appreciate the richness of simple things, like having a cup of coffee while reading a good book.
We spoke with David Carbó i Amorós, one of the project partners and member of the creative team behind the concept and general design, and he told us that Baldomero’s concept has always been clear: to bring the countryside to the middle of the city. And they nailed it.
Baldomero’s values are inspired on the countryside lifestyle: Austerity, Sincerity, Simplicity and Honesty – and they manage to capture them in every detail, from their interior design, the branding, their food, and their music (they have an open playlist on Spotify).
