After the beautiful Grand Pigalle, Hotel des Grand Boulevards is the second hotel in Paris by the Experimental Group. This hidden gem is located in a building raised before the French Revolution and was designed by Dorothée Meilichzon of Design agency Chzon who takes visitors on a journey back in time to the era of romanticism. This concept is well-reflected with the interiors.
The color palette of deep blue, grey, pink and white is a modern take on lush decor of the 18th century. Heavy curtains hang above velvet beds, creating a contrast with unique tile mosaics on rooms’ floors. Raw elements such as wooden tables alongside brass and marble finishings bring a contemporary touch to the retro concept. Featuring a cocktail bar and a restaurant, hotel’s menu was conceived in collaboration with Giovanni Passerini – a famous Parisian chef who revisits French and Italian country cuisine.
