Cup of Ceremony is a concept space in San Francisco inspired by modern design and Japanese tradition. Bringing back old tea ceremonies to California, the place combines the function of a store and a workshop. Four originally scented candles created by a Korean perfumer are on sale alongside a wide offer of olfactory experiences to book.
The visual identity for this raw concept was designed by Studio Riebenbauer that got inspired by all kinds of imperfections. The logo reflects the character of the interior where a sense of emptiness leaves room for ideas and creativity .
“We show the beauty of broken things. Because only if something is broken can we see its subjacent layers,” states the studio.
