Mesh Volumes by a Mexican designer Moisés Hernández is a series of subtle, colorful objects. Inspired by textures and traditional crafts, Hernández redefines the idea of materiality with semi-transient designs made of perforated metal sheet. The aim of the project was to reflect the interactions between lightness, color and transparency.
“Each piece is comprised of three or two volumes with different heights, diameters and colors, from faint to vibrant, that interact with the environment,” states the artist.
