Photographer Spotlight: Eric Kogan

Eric Kogan is a Russian street photographer living and working in New York City. With a background in painting, Kogan found his way to photography while attending art school in 2004. It was the lure of what he describes as “discovering unexpected things in ordinary places” that led him to start creating work on the street. These images are from his ongoing series, “Creatures, People, and Places,” which highlights random findings over the course of the past decade in the city he currently calls home.
