A dreamy comic about fleeting moments and treasuring the time we have together by New York-based artist and illustrator Evan M. Cohen (previously featured here). Great stuff as always.
I keep thinking about the night,
We stayed up late to feel the light.
The world was still asleep and dreaming,
While our bodies were moving and breathing.
It felt like we were going to live forever,
As we watched the colors rise together.
I wanted to take the light with me.
I did not know were saying goodbye,
Drifting with the waves of the summer sky.
I will always remember how it felt to be free,
Listening to the chords of the golden melody,
Waiting to see if the sun will shine again for me.
